Biography
From a very young age, I dreamed of becoming a paediatrician, a passion that led me to study medicine and specialize in paediatrics. In 2009, personal health challenges led me to explore alternatives beyond conventional medicine, awakening me to the realization that true health is more than just the absence of disease.
I currently practice Integrative Medicine, harmonizing the best aspects of traditional and holistic approaches. I believe in treating each person as a unique individual, taking into account their genetics, diet, lifestyle, emotions and family background.
I’m Filipa – a woman, a mother (the greatest gift life has given me), a daughter, a sister, and a dedicated pediatrician and neonatologist. I have certifications as a Breastfeeding Counselor and IAIM Infant Massage Instructor, with training in Homeopathy, Homotoxicology, Energy Medicine, Neural Therapy, Dark Field Microscopy, Positive Parenting, Emotional Intelligence, Systemic Family Therapy, and Mindfulness and Breathing.
In today’s world, children are exposed to higher levels of stress and environmental toxins, which makes them more vulnerable to illness. I believe we can help them achieve balance, emotional resilience and self-esteem by equipping them with essential tools. By focusing on proper diet and lifestyle choices, we can guide them towards becoming healthier adults.
As parents, we also need to prioritize our personal care, because our children learn through our example, which is deeply influenced by the family dynamic.
Those who know me describe me as energetic, curious and always eager to learn. I remain committed to expanding my knowledge so that I can better serve the people around me.
